I'm Tuan Nguyen, a highly motivated Ph.D. student at the VinUni-Illinois Smart Health Center (VISHC, VinUniversity) and the Security and AI Lab (SAIL) in Vietnam. I specialize in machine learning, particularly in developing trustworthy and practical federated learning systems. My research focuses on enhancing robustness, privacy, and explainability in federated learning environments. I have a proven track record in research, having published several papers in top-tier conferences and journals such as NeurIPS, WWW, and EAAI. I'm eager to apply my expertise to real-world challenges and am particularly interested in exploring how federated learning can be leveraged to improve data privacy and security. I am seeking a research and internship opportunity where I can contribute to building real-world federated learning systems and gain hands-on experience in the field.
